Name Customization Help Please

Ok, so I finally quit being a cheap ass and upgraded my account but I'm worthless with html. All I'm trying for is alternating Blood Red and Black Letters with Blood Red shadow for black letters and Black shadow for the red letters (not really any drop on the shadow but pretty saturated so the black text is legible). Any and all help is appreciated but if you can provide the code to get this working you'll be my hero!

Ty ck. I've tried it and it did help but the site is only applying the html code I enter for the first letter and is applying it to my whole name no matter what code I enter for any of the other letters. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Nothing on your end. This sites text preview when you're actually customizing wasn't showing any of the changes I'd made (beyond the first like I originally described) until I saved, then it worked fine and actually shows everything.

rorofat made this handy dandy username customization tool. It can do most of the basic stuff, including colours, glow effects, etc.
