Conspiracy Cards

So I was working on planning an EDH deck when I came across conspiracy cards, and I was confused when I saw them. I read that the intent of the cards was to make drafting a little bit more interesting, so I thought they wouldn't be allowed to be used in a non-drafted deck, on the other hand if that is the case, then the cards are kind of useless. I was just wondering if anyone could clear this up for me. Thanks!

Your interpretation is correct. The cards are only for drafting. They are illegal in every sanction format. You can however add them to your cube if you want to spice it up.

For starters, are you talking about the actual conspiracy cards, or the cards that come in conspiracy? If its the latter, then those cards are legal. There are many decks out there that use Marchesa, the Black Rose as their commander. Also, many of the cards printed in Conspiracy are reprints from different sets already. Although, some cards, like Cogwork Librarian are meant for only drafting

I feel like conspiracies could be used in an edh game, but you'd have to get permission from who you are playing with, and I think that everyone should get at least one.

I thought about doing with the conspiracy cards was just making a small deck of them, maybe two of each, then before the game starts each player draws 2 of them. Then just go from there.

Depending on how you define "card pool", Worldknit would just destroy the format.
