Hi all, I wanted to know everything possible about Riku of Two Reflections. I need card suggestions for a edh deck I plan to build. I plan to incorporate cards from my Sage of the Deep Blue deck as well.

Note: I want to build a deck without too much reliance on Riku, but still using him when needed.

Hope you all can help.

Thank you!

A neat trick would be to incorporate Cloudstone Curio. Play a creature, copy it with Riku, then bounce the original, keeping a copy around on the field and keeping the card in your hand to play again.

Riku decks usually take one of two approaches: mono-green devotional ramp to big creatures with blue (and even red) there primarily to support this plan. Or nearly creatureless with a lot of extra turn spells and ways to produce massive quantities of mana to combo out.

Does either of these appeal to you? There are great examples of each on this site that you could use as a starting point.

I played him temur goodstuff and the deck ultimately played itself. If riku wasn't there it won. If riku was there it win harder. It boils down to what you want to do but if you don't want to rely on riku just throw temur bombs together in a deck and have fun with it.
