Best Ideas for a Flavorful Vorthos deck?

Hey guys, I've been playing commander since the format came out and I've made a good 10 or so decks over my career varying in all colors, strategies and power levels. One thing I never tried, however, was making a deck PURELY for flavor reasons - aka, every card in the deck tells a story related to the commander through it's name, art, and mechanics. Do you guys have any good ideas of commanders with cool backstories and lore, yet obviously still give the deck a reasonable chance to win? For example... I could make a Doran deck with only treefolk, but that's kind of boring and people have done that before. I want to hear what you think!
I'd love to see a memnarch deck leading myr tribal the deck would tell the story of mirriodan pre phrexia and it would be sweet you may get hated out for playing memnarch or you may steal some games because he's really powerful but I'd say memnarch leading myr tribal

Once Commander 2017 comes out, the epitome of Vorthos decks will likely be Ramos, Dragon Engine + all pieces of the Legacy.
It won't be good (many don't realize how many awful cards are in the Legacy, like Juju Bubble but you can say you built the Legacy, so who's really winning?

Nicol Bolas seems like a good call with the lore moving to focus on him in the most recent set.
