This was actually one of my original synergies. I loved it but it required a bit more investing mana wise. Yes it can nuke lands very early to give me the upper hand but I never found myself tutoring for it and most often I found myself drawing into it and wishing it was a different card. It was a hard cut but a cut nonetheless. Thank you for your suggestion!

Liquimetal Coating seems like a good alternate way to get some land hate in.
