Plank for Unlicensed and Hydra —Oct. 1, 2017

The deck has been testing well. Walk the Plank has been meh. Going to swap it out and try Unlicensed Disintegration again. Might be dropping it for either a MD sweeper or more creatures.

what do you think about Glint-Sleeve Siphoner if youre running the energy package?

I have used her before. I like her, but I think she works better in a deck that is dedicated to energy. She clogs the 2-drop slot too much. Although I was just looking at some cards and there maybe an option for a Jund Energy deck. Die Young, Glint-Sleeve, Hydra. Need some good 3-drops though.

As tempting as is to play lots and lots of spells, I think you need to run 1-2 more lands. It's crucial in this type of decks to play on curve every turn. Also I'd run at least 1 copy of Vraska, Relic Seeker.

As far as the land is concerned, I tried running 23 and actually got flooded more often than I cared for. Between Servant and Attune I haven't had any issues hitting land. Also with Attune and Servant it is a lot easier to keep opening hands as you only need 2-3 lands, and Attune and/or Servant.

I like Vraska, I really do, however she would make this deck a little more too heavy than I would like. I tried her and anytime I could play her it just felt like a winmore in this deck. I am going to try her out in an Abzan control deck, we'll see how she does there.
