Lazav is BACK! (2DH Rule Change) —July 7, 2016
Yes you read it right, Lazav is back in business.
Thanks to a recent rule change to the 2DH format, commanders/generals are now allowed to be up to $5 while the rest of the deck must be $2 or under. This rule change allows for more decks to be created without affecting the overall power level of the format too much. This also means that all the commanders who were lost to the >$2 price climb are available for use.
Even though I'm really happy that Lazav is back, a lot of really amazing cards that made Lazav a powerhouse have unfortunately gone over $2. Guiltfeeder, Mind Grind and Dismember to name a few. I think I had to take out 8 cards in total so the deck isn't as strong as it was and the upvotes might not accurately affect the quality of the deck anymore.
That being said, I'm looking for good replacements and have found a couple good budget ones I had lying around for the time being. Looking for suggestions more than ever now, so I will happily take any sort of feedback you want to leave.
