1st event is success. 3-1 (7-3 games):

2-0 over Rally. Mostly just steamrolled the deck. Blossoming Defence to protect Managorger from Reflector Mage was a key play.

2-1 over WG tokens. It should have been 2-0 but I derped and allowed Ormendahl to come flying when I had a large Ballista who could have killed one of the creatures before it could come alive.

1-2 to Jeskai Black. Both times fell to a Saheeli combo. Both times I nearly had the game won, when the combo came through. I had Duressed away two cards and then a top-deck sealed the deal. (Transgress would have worked better, remove the cub.) The match was highly winnable with better play; I could have held off the combo at least one of those games, and pressed for a win.

2-0 over WG scales. Not even close.

2nd event, misbuilt the deck (Meaning last minute assembling the deck, grabbed the wrong cards.). Only 20 lands, no Nissa, Bristling Hydras. It was awful. Still managed to go 2-0-1. Managorgers are the total absolute nut.

2-1 vs GW scales.0-2 vs UB control (Fatal Push into Disallow on a Hangarback Walker... nice move.)1-1-1 vs Jeskai Black (no combo). I'm convinced this is the worst matchup for the deck on account of Crackling Doom.2-1 vs Jeskai tokens.

New idea: Cut Avatar of the Resolute, because I don't want to play Avatar on T2, don't want to play Ballista yet either. Replace with Smuggler's Copter because I want every game to be looting into all the Managorgers and all the Blossoming Defenses. (And sideboard against Jeskai Black, all the Transgresses to get rid of those Crackling Dooms.) Gives by Ballistas something to do, and the elves when they tire of ramping.
