Twilight Prophet, like I mentioned in my revisions update recently, DOES work in practice but I think ultimately added to mana curve bloating. I think it was a smart call to cut it and slot in Steelshaper’s Gift to go deeper on Skullclamp usage.

Save maybe Teferi’s Protection, the anti-board wipe instants are not as optimal as more open ended interaction. They also do nothing against Cyclonic Rift or Toxic Deluge which are the most ubiquitous and most used boardwipes ever. I can at least Red Elemental Blast or Pyroblast the Rift, and preemptively answer the Deluge with Cabal Therapy or Thoughtseize (people telegraphing their in hand board wipes happens more often then you think).
