Hey man, like that deck!

I have to ask you something though. Illusory Ambusher, what's your opinion? I used to run a rafiq deck and I ran it. I had for card draw, but if no one was swing it a pseudo haste beater. They thought me swinging with it was strange, but it gave it evasion in a way.

I absolutely ADORE Illusory Ambusher. I cannot overstate my sheer adoration of that card. I'll admit I've never had a situation where it seemed like a good idea to just swing with it, but it usually draws about eight cards and once managed 19 from blocking a Jarad :)

Most of the time it wasn't. My playgroup is removal heavy. So I kind of expected to never get through if they saw it coming. So I'd flash in Illusory Ambusher and present them an option. Take ten damage, or let your creature die while potential drawing me some cards. He was a true beater in my deck.

Anyways I like the deck man. I see in your maybe board you have Wood Elves. Can I suggest a swap to main? Yavimaya Dryad. They basically do the same thing. Sure Yavimaya Dryad forest walk, but it's two green and colorless instead of a green and two colorless. In a three color deck might be more reliable or at least let you use green more freely if you need it.

I'm actually a HUGE fan of Yavimaya Dryad - her art is spectacular and most of the decks I play against are green so she swings for 6 unblockable on the turn Rafiq comes down surprisingly often, which is something that I really appreciate from a ramp spell :P I dunno, like I realise Wood Elves is probably the better card but I just really like her for some reason D: Thank you for the suggestion, though!
