go up to 4 goblin guide and swiftspear...

i'd say -4x Gonti's Machinations and add in 2 more eidolon, 1 guide, 1 swiftspear

Now I see why I may want to bring up the counts again. However Machinations does a lot more work then it looks like it does, it works in the mirror really well, it slows down aggro and gives me a fairly large life point swing, I like Eidolon but it hurts myself way too much, mentor at least is only for my opponent. Currently I like the spread of creatures and spells, it seems to work well considering the plan is to be a spell based burn deck.

@darkdawson123 true, it may help in mirror but since 4-color isn't very common anyway, even if you don't like more eidolon, the guide and swiftspear are pretty freaking good, you may just want to test with 2 machinations and playset of guide and swiftspear

Boredom got the best of me, ended up running a lot differently than I thought I would with this.. really a lot you can do here. Wrath effects, different types of draw, heavy creature.. anywho, here's what I have

The inclusion of Gonti's Machinations seems cool. I'm playing the card in my standard deck currently, it really is suprising how much I like the card when I play it. As for your deck I think I'd drop the green, and go for 1 Molten Vortex and 3 lightning helix or magma jet.

Surge24 You'd run Molten Vortex in this kinda deck? Thats super spicy!

Heh yeah I end up throwing it in as a one of in all my modern/frontier burn decks I like the idea of giving value to otherwise dead land draws later in the game.

It isn't an awful idea if I were to do that seismic assault is probably what I would use as it is free!
