Hello, I'm a Magic collector, casual Magic player, and competitive chess player. I enjoy Magic for the beautiful artwork, collectability, and playing casual games with friends. I've never been interested in competitive Magic; I can see the appeal, but I simply prefer chess as a competitive outlet. I like collecting cards from the older sets such as Arabian Nights, Unlimited, etc., but Legends is my favorite. Currently I prefer playing EDH as it allows me to play with more of my favorite cards, plus I've always enjoyed building and playing highlander decks.
