That's an interesting suggestion -- I don't think the higher mana cost is necessarily a problem since as you say we're playing those cards later than turn 1 or 2 anyway, plus the deck makes lots of mana. I'll give them a try!
I've only tested against a pretty vanilla Horde deck (60x tokens ranging from 1/1 to 3/3, 40x nontokens ranging from 4/4 to 8/8 with some evergreen keywords). I think this deck is very fair in that context -- it can win solo with some luck but gets steamrolled if it falters.
I like building single-minded decks in this format but against a Horde (or human!) that ran interaction I think it would need some changes. With a partner playing control it could be a lot of fun. I'll have to print some proxies and try that with my wife, who'd adore this deck.

Here's my attempt at a Dances with Bears deck. It's built for Horde but it might work in kitchen table 1v1 too. Thanks for making this list, I'm looking forward to trying some more of these!
