Bio: You could call me a Vorthos player with a penchant for pernicious escalation towards competitive play. Collecting since '01, still learning to play. I remember the first time I really loved this game like it was yesterday...someone rolled up to casual play with Dark Ritual-Entomb-Exhume-Hypnox...Never looked at any other TCG after that. After a 6 year break I discovered the joy of Commander in 2017, and it's been my primary focus. Favorite set is Lorwyn, and anything relating to Odyssey/Torment holds a special place. Favorite card is based on my handle...

EDH for me is a classic case of escalation-tweaking: what starts off as flavor ends up turning towards more competitive play over time. That said I'm working with my limited archives so they are what they are.

Each Commander will have Flavortown ratings based on a n arbitrary points system:

  • 3 Points = Direct flavor text quotes by the Commander AND/OR name is in card title AND features the Commander directly in the art.

  • 2 Points = Direct flavor text quotes by the Commander OR features the Commander directly in the art.

  • 1 Point = Directly features Class and/or Lore cohesion.
