Welcome to my profile I guess, there’s not that much to me really. I started playing around M10, mostly building funny jank decks and just having fun with friends in school via magic.

Very early on I got into drafting. I loved the idea of being able to do something with the cards I pulled rather than file them away for latter use or trade, plus the games were short and fun, and doesn’t require you to sink loads of money into singles. Through drafting I learned how to build focused decks, eventually weeding out my janky ways.

Eventually I was introduced to Commander and immediately fell in love. Commander became the format where I refined my deck building skills to build decks as optimal as my collection could take them.

My most recent format obsession is pauper. Pauper is the culmination of everything I love about magic. Pauper has an extremely wide meta game where just about any deck can play well, from crab tribal to artifact storm combo and so much more. Pauper is also budget by nature, and most semi-decent magic players can brew a good deck for around $12.

Anyway, that’s my mtg history in a nutshell.

Have you thought about running Dramatic Reversal? If you assemble your petitioner combo, it lets you mill 12 again for only 2 mana. Maybe run like 1-2?
