Welcome to the Briefcase

This account is purely for posting decks from a project my friends and I started over 10 years ago. WoTC has always done a bit of a poor job supporting new players in their journey. PreCons are never properly balanced, and their price leaves even more to be desired. Now with Commander reigning supreme, it is even more difficult than it once was to learn the game.

Years ago, we modified some PreCons to better balance them, and bought a breifcase from the thriftstore. The idea at the time being that instead of bringing our backpacks everywhere, we could bring a single briefcase on a trip etc and have a variety of decks to play.

A couple years later that evolved into building decks from the ground up using our bulk cards. I bought my first pack from TimeSpiral in 2006, so for me this actually involved a pretty deep card pool.

Many of these decks are incredibly simple by design since they are meant to teach the game, but some have just enough complexity and synergy to be incredibly fun to pilot, while still being balanced against the more simple decks.

I am going to slowly upload all of the decks currently in the case, and im adding a few new additions out the gate. Any ideas or themes for a deck are welcome, but no promises lol
