Deckling -

Hello everyone,

I've been playing competitively since Dragons of Tarkir with physical cards, but before that I'd played every edition of Duels of the Planeswalkers on the 360. I also used to play a little kitchen table in the early 2000s when I was in middle school. Now I'm a working "grown-up" who likes to spend most of his money on this awesome hobby that we all love.

My favorite colors are probably Red and Green, and I usually build a lot of aggro and combo decks. Some of the most successful decks I've sleeved up have been Atarka Red (DTK and Origins standard), Abzan Elf Rally (Origins Standard), U/R Thermo-Thing (EMN standard, took it to a 3-4 at a GP), and my newest creation Purphoros, Master Chef (EDH).

My favorite pros to watch are Jeff Hoogland and LSV. I am moderately obsessed with Jeff Hoogland's Kiki/Darwin Chord decks. I also really enjoy all of the content that Tolarian Community College, the Mana Source, and Strictly Better MTG put out. Those guys are awesome, and totally deserve to be checked out if you haven't already.

I very much enjoy building my decks with a Tribal theme. I probably shouldn't but I seem to do it a lot. Elves and Goblins are my two favorites, but I love Werewolves and Vampires too. I mostly play standard, but I am branching out and learning modern, and have started working on developing a playgroup for EDH in my area. Hope you find some decks that I have built that you enjoy playing and have success with!
