I've been collecting MTG on and off since 1995, but only started buying packs to compete since New Phyrexia. I transitioned from Yu-Gi-Oh to playing Magic full-time around Throne of Eldraine. My favorite tribes are Eldrazi, Dragons, and Hydras. I used to play standard from New Phyrexia up to Eldraine, then transitioned to Pioneer, and as of last year left all those behind for Commander, my absolute FAVORITE format :)
