I thought I should add something here because it has been blank for months, so...
Hi,
I am Jarrod. Nickname "Frosty". I have been playing casually for 2 years now. My first deck was a Golgari Dredge/Saproling token generator thrown together with the rejected cards from a friend's collection. It sat at 80 cards for a while until I was told (as all noobs are) that bigger is definitely not better.
I bought my first precon deck from our local game store (which, sadly, has now closed). It was the G/W Totem Armor with Gigantomancer (a card great for a Johnny like me). Sadly, I realized the CMC was too high to see any competitive use, so it had been stuck in my rare folder for months.
I liked elves a lot, until people told me they were such a "cheap" win, with no skill involved whatsoever. I agree actually, but it's still fun to play them once in a while.
I started playing more competitively late last year. I copied Mike Flore's Naya Lightsaber and played that for a while until it cycled out.
The deck I am currently running is my Boros Landfall Jr. aka. Adventure Time!.
