Hey, my name is Chase, and I started playing Magic just as Avacyn Restored dropped, and I've enjoyed Magic ever since.

I tried to get into Standard, but I really didn't enjoy the meta at all (stupid Naya Blitz and Swagtusk), plus it was extremely expensive. I decided to be done with Standard for awhile until I had the money for it.

My favorite formats are draft and pre-release, because I feel like they are a true test of knowledge of Magic, and I really enjoy deckbuilding on the fly. I've taken first at quite a few drafts in my local area.

My favorite color is Blue, because I feel like it has the most variety of cards (and counterspells just make me lol), and, while I started out aggro, I've found that control is my favorite way to play.

My favorite guild is Azorious (although I do enjoy Boros)

My favorite Shard is Grixis. (My first Standard deck was Grixis control. So much fun.)

Right now, I'm trying to get into Modern through trading for my deck, but I refuse to build meta decks in Modern (Affinity, Storm, etc.). So I came up with a homebrew inspired by one of my friend's who loves Lions. Overwhelming Pride. Feel free to check my "wants" list for the things I want for this deck.

As for trading, I will trade anywhere in the lower 48 states of the U.S (sorry no over seas).
