BTW I would trade Creeping Chill for Bridge from Below so you can make tokens and keep up the aggro... it's worth more in the course of the game than the chills IMO

Manaless Dredge is a classic. And now it's trully competitive with Force of Vigor in the sideboard... It was legit the only thing holding Manaless Dredge back and now it has means of enchantment/artifact removal

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm since this deck dies to Chalice of the Void on 1 and you are playing Mono Black, I recomment Ratchet Bombs in the sideboard (you can just drop them and activate for zero hehe

Polymorph has become competitive, actually. But it's using Indomitable Creativity and Teferi, Time Raveler. You can see it being featured in MTGTop8 right now, actually

NP bro. I feel Scheming Symmetry is one of those 'yet-to-be-broken' cards. Sure it does damage in a Lantern Control shell, but it feels like someday someone will manage to abuse it. (Also keeping my eyes on One with Nothing - the effect sucks, but it is an extremely powerful effect for 1 mana instant speed).

Plus they are pretty cheap (for MtG standards XD)

Maybe keep it in the sideboard? Bear in mind Grafdigger's Cage actully hurts you. I had the (dis)pleasure of finding that out mid-tourney

Hmmmmm I understand your concern. As it turns out Legacy is actually slower than Modern (despite the turn1 combos) and it isn't a format where Birds is too popular. Looking at it now I do feel more interaction could be put in place (although I'm not very sure how), but Bone Shard in a format with Daze and Force of Will would hurt like hell.

But you are right about the Modern thing tho. Modern demands a ton of early-game interaction.

But that is thinking of using this in a very competitive game, which I'm not sure it is meant to xD

Valakut Awakening  Flip, Fire Prophecy and See Beyond are good ways to reshuffle Emrakul back.

Aquatic Incursion provides Hexproof creatures to prevent removal on them.

Boseiju, Who Shelters All also can make your combo uncounterable.

I don't think you need the 4 Emrakuls... only 2. Unless you intend on playing Through the Breach MD or SB.

I see the Mass Polymorph in there. Have you tried making a deck dedicated to it instead? (A deck that doesn't necessarily brings ONLY JUST Emrakul). Mass Polymorph has the potential to win the game on the spot withXenagos, God of Revels, Iona, Shield of Emeria, Archon of Cruelty, Blazing Archon, Platinum Angel entering the board on the same time :V

Idk about Spell Pierce. I have the impression you could focus the mainboard on dealing with creatures and leave the counterspell battle for the sideboard.

I think a simple addition for the deck is Ashiok, Dream Render. Because it makes Scheming Symmetry unilateral.

Also I've grown fond of the Spell Lands and one in particular seems to fit well in here: Hagra Mauling  Flip. I think you can also go for more efficient removal like Bloodchief's Thirst or even a more versatile card like Murderous Rider.

As of now I think what I would particularly try is to make a deck capable of handling creature decks since it comprises of most of the Modern format. Then I would probably leave the Control/Combo battle to the sideboard.

I also don't know if you saw these new cards from recent sets, so I'll leave them here in case they are useful to you: Sudden Edict, Infernal Grasp.

I'm glad you liked it. I took a second look at it and saw some things that may improve it.

I just noted you are running Creeping Mold. I think you can easily switch it for Bramblecrush (lets you target planeswalkers).

Also noted you are running Hunger of the Howlpack. While it is a one mana spell I think Inscription of Abundance is overall better (more versatility).

I tried to focus on changed that wouldn't affect the deck in its essence :V

If you are going to run Naturalize on the maindeck, might as well switch it for Wilt. It is the same card but better. :V

Here's a card that is a pain to build around but has an eerie aura around it: One with Nothing.

Its effect is weird, but it is one-mana instant speed. It bears the marks of "it will be broken someday".
