Will i still receive combat damage if ever Child of Alara died during combat phase?

let's say my opponent attacked all of his 10/10 creatures and child blocked one of it, will i still recieve combat damage even if child's death ability triggers?

That or if you sacrifice it otherwise kill Child of Alara yourself during the declare attackers or declare blockers step.

All normal combat damage is dealt at the same time. So you would take damage at the same time as Child of Alara.
So Yes, In most cases you would still be assigned combat damage. You could only stop the damage to you by having Child of Alara killed before the other creatures would deal damage to you. This can be only be done if you block a creature that has first strike and the other creatures don't.
