Whip of erebos and reconfigure?
Asked by ReboundLord1980FTW 2 years ago
If I return a creature with reconfigure to the battlefield with whip of erebos and equip it to another creature it stops being a creature. Do I still have to exile the reconfigured equipment at end of turn?

You can use double square brackets around a card's name to make a reference link. It's the best way to make sure everyone understands what's going on in the question: Whip of Erebos, Leech Gauntlet
It still gets exiled. Reconfiguring the creature into an equipment doesn't make it a new game object, it just changes its characteristics, like giving it an ability or giving it +X/+X. Because it's the same object and Whip's effect doesn't specifically say it only affects the card if it remains a creature then that means Whip's effect will still apply.
