When you enchant a different player, who is the owner of the enchantment?

Asked by Husky 11 years ago

How the question goes, such that if I were to enchant a player with, say Heartless Summoning could they through a spell or ability that would target one of my permanents, bounce it back to my hand or destroy it? Or would they be the owner of that enchantment?

You can't enchant a player with that enchantment.

It is something you put onto the battlefield under your control which effects your creature spells and creatures.

In cases like -curses- which can enchant a player and thus enchant an opponent, you are both the owner and controller of that enchantment.

Any cards that started the game in your deck or sideboard are considered to be owned by you, I believe.
