What does Pariah do on an enemy creature?

Pariah is an enchantment aura, thus you could use it on an enemy creature. But is there anything to gain from this?
it also states:'All damage that would be dealt to YOU is...'So if it's on an opponents creature does that mean 'you' is now my opponent? in other words, did I just counter myself?Or will he attack his own creature when attacking me?

"You" always refers to the controller of the ability/permanent/effect etc.
So if you control Pariah , it's triggered ability will trigger when you take damage, and deal that amount to the enchanted creature, even if you don't control the creature.

No. 'You' refers to the controller of Pariah, in this case YOU you.
So any damage dealt to -you- is deal to your opponent's creature instead.
