Vault of Whispers

If I had 3 on hand can I play all of them on turn 1? Or just play them as lands and can't load up my board?

Vault of Whispers is both an artifact and a land. Because it is a land, playing it counts as your one land for the turn. So you can play only one.

bcurran is right. A card with multiple types has to follow the rules for all of them. You're only allowed to play one land per turn, so you can only play one Vault of Whispers .
