Upkeep stack stuff

Hello!

Question: I have Debtors' Knell on the field and Priest of the Blood Rite in my graveyard, mmkay?At the beginning of my upkeep I put Mr. Blood Rite on the battlefield, mmkay?Do I lose the 2 life for his ability even though he wasn't on the field at the time the upkeep stuff went on the stack?

I believe the upkeep stuff goes in the stack, then resolves, and I won't be losing life until my NEXT upkeep, mmkay.

You are correct that you will not lose life from the PotBR.

Both cards have triggered abilities that trigger at the beginning of the upkeep. When you return the priest with the trigger of debtor's knell, the beginning of upkeep has already passed (remember, you put the DK trigger on the stack then), so the Priest will not trigger until your next upkeep.
