can a token be flickered?

You can cast something like cloudshift on a token you control, but when it leaves the battlefield it cannot return, and will remain in exile. The next time state-based actions are performed the token will cease to exist.

Yes. If you go to the Magic Comprehensive Rules, 110.5f...If a token changes zones, applicable triggered abilities will trigger before the token ceases to exist.

Ignore my last comment. I read that too quickly...The token can be brought back if it's of the effect of a /triggered/ ability. Sorry for the confusion.

@Hellhawk: The token cannot be brought back, regardless of how it left the battlefield. Therefore, GoblinsInc is correct; a token that has left the battlefield will cease to exist the next time state-based actions are checked.

110.5f A token that's phased out, or that's in a zone other than the battlefield, ceases to exist. This is a state-based action; see rule 704. (Note that if a token changes zones, applicable triggered abilities will trigger before the token ceases to exist.)

110.5g A token that has left the battlefield can't move to another zone or come back onto the battlefield. If such a token would change zones, it remains in its current zone instead. It ceases to exist the next time state-based actions are checked; see rule 704.

No, it can't. Tokens can't get back at all if they leave the battlefield.

110.5g A token that has left the battlefield can't move to another zone or come back onto the battlefield. If such a token would change zones, it remains in its current zone instead. It ceases to exist the next time state-based actions are checked; see rule 704.

No ability, triggered, static, or otherwise, can bring a token back from any other zone once it leaves. This does include "flicker" effects like Cloudshift - while the leaving and returning are all part of the same ability, the token still leaves the battlefield and them according to 110.5g, it can't return. The ability tries to return it, the rules stop it, and so it does nothing. The token remains in the exile zone then ceases to exist as soon as SBAs are checked (right when the spell resolves).
