Tapping while in Combat (Razia, Boros Archangel)

Say I attack with Razia, Boros Archangel and I am blocked by a 3/3 flyer. Can I tap Razia, Boros Archangel after the blocker is declared and reroute the damage that would be dealt to her? Or will Razia, Boros Archangel die?

Or, in the alternative situation, say I block a 3/3 creature with Razia, Boros Archangel , can Razia, Boros Archangel be tapped in order to reroute the damage that she would take and survive?

Yes to both. After blockers are declared, players get priority, then combat damage is dealt. When you get priority you can activate her ability to prevent the soon to be dealt combat damage.
