Tamiyo, the Moon Sage and Shattered Perception

What happens if you have Tamiyo's Emblem (your hand is the new graveyard), and you cast shattered-perceptions? would you discard your hand into your hand, and draw that many, or would it fail, as you can't really discard your hand?

Nothing says you can't discard your hand.

Tamiyo, the Moon Sage 's emblem reads "Whenever a card is put into your graveyard from anywhere, you may return it to your hand."

This means that each time a card you own is put into your graveyard from anywhere, the emblem's ability triggers. When the ability resolves, you may choose to put the related card back in your hand or leave it in the graveyard.

Shattered Perception's effect causes you to discard your hand and then draw that many cards. This will result in the following chain of events:

You discard your hand. Tamiyo's emblem's ability triggers for each card discarded this way, but the abilities wait to go onto the stack until State-Based Actions (SBAs) check.

You draw a number of cards equal to the number of cards you discarded.

With Shattered Perception fully resolved, the abilities from Tamiyo's emblem are put onto the stack in whichever order their controller (you) chooses. These abilities resolve individually and you may choose to return any of the cards to your hand from the graveyard.
