Stun Sniper Ability vs Vigilance?

Asked by army12r 11 years ago

Does Stun Sniper ability "Stun sniper deals one damage to target creature. Tap that creature." over rule Vigilance?

When I apply the ability on a vigilant creature during my opponents turn and they complete their turn, does that vigilant creature untap??

Stun Sniper

Vigilance is a static ability that says attacking does not cause it to be tapped. It still must be untapped to be declared as an attacker, and if it is tapped, will untap as normal during the controller's untap step.
