Stacking and resolving multiple end step triggers

Asked by Stinkie 5 years ago

This week a question came up in our playgroup when I had a Soulherder and a Primordial Mist in play. Is there a way that I can resolve the Primordial Mist trigger first, manifesting the top card of my library and then target that manifested creature with Soulherder's trigger, or do I already have to choose Soulherder's target before Primordial Mist's trigger resolves?

Unfortunately no, that won't work. Though you do get to decide what order to put the triggers onto the stack, you have to choose the target for Soulherder's trigger at that moment. You can't wait for Primordial Mist's trigger to resolve first.
