Sacrifice a card that has Sacrifice this card on it

Let me explain. Some cards lets you sacrifice another card. I am wondering what would happen if that other card has Sacrifice this card on it. Can I sacrifice that card and get both the initial benefit and the benefit of the sacrificed card itself.
An example. When Disciple of Bolas enters the game I have to sacrifice another creature. And I gain life and can draw cards. If I sacrifice an Eldrazi scion for this, that has Sacrifice this creature, add 1 to your mana pool. Do I then also get that 1 mana, as I am sacrificing it. Or does that ability not trigger as it goes directly into the graveyard?

The Eldrazi Scion tokens have an activated ability that reads "Sacrifice this creature: Add . If you sacrifice the creature to this ability to add colorless mana, it will not be around to sacrifice to Disciple of Bolas. If you sacrifice it to Disciple of Bolas, it will not be around to activate the mana ability.
