Ruhan of the Fomori???

Asked by Nobilior 13 years ago

Is he basically unblockable? Or does his text mean something else?

No. Nowhere is unblockable mentioned. It simply means that he attacks each turn if able, but the player he attacks is decided at random from your opponents. If he is not able to attack that player that turn, then he does not have to attack them.

Ruhan of the Fomori is not unblockable, it just makes it so you have to attack any player, and when you choose after who you attack, it will negate Gideon Jura attraction (only after) and its a 7/7 for 4 CMC so, thats why he has to attack every turn. Hopefully we helped you out.

Just in case this is part of what you're confused about: Only players and planeswalkers can be attacked. Creatures can't be attacked. When you attack a player or planeswalker, that player (or the controller of the planeswalker) decides whether or not he wants to use any of his creatures to block. Ruhan just makes you choose the player he has to attack at random. When Ruhan attacks that player, the player can then use his creatures to block if he wants to.
