Putting a Land in Play and then Playing a Land
Asked by InnerFlame 10 years ago
If a player puts a land in play using a fetch land or Search for Tomorrow, can they still play another land in that turn after putting the land on?

Yes.
"Playing a land" is a special action that players may take once on each of their turns during one of their main phases while the stack is empty and they have priority.
Putting a land card or token onto the battlefield as part of the effect of a spell or ability is not a special action. It doesn't count toward your land plays for the turn.

Yes. Spells or abilities that put lands into play do not count towards lands played for your turn.
