when Progenitor Mimic copys a token say forced to since Thragtusk got killed before mimic could enter.
Progenitor Mimic is now copying a 3/3 beast token. do you get more 3/3 tokens or not?
i think you dont but opponent ws convinced you did and i had no valid argument to make him change his mind.
btw in this case would Gaze of Granite (X=0) kill mimic if it copyd token or not?

Yes it would, because copying also copies the CMC of the card.

Yes, you get tokens. Progenitor Mimic 's ability is self-referential. It checks to see if the source permanent (i.e. Progenitor Mimic and any token copies it makes) is a token. If it isn't, the ablitiy produces a token copy.
Although the Progenitor Mimic copied a token, being a token is not a copiable characteristic. The Progenitor Mimic is still a nontoken card. Because its ability doesn't care what the copied permanent was, only what the source permanent is, it will produce tokens.
