Polukranos, World Eater and deathtouch

Asked by redpiano 11 years ago

I have one question that should answer two questions.

When Polukranos does his monstrous effect, does it deal it's damage first, resolve and then other creatures deal damage or is it all at once like combat?

If it's the latter then deathtouch kills him when using this ability right? And if multiple creatures are on the field with a cumulative power of at minimum 6 is on your opponents field then polukranos would die if you only give him +1 with monstrous right?

They all deal their damage at once. He would die to any amount of deathtouch damage. He would also die to any amount of damage that is in total equal to or higher than his toughness.

He doesn't get to kill a bunch of things, and only take the leftover damage.

Also consider that if you only activate the Monstrosity for X=1 then you'll only be able to target exactly one creature with the triggered ability (and will only deal 1 damage to it).
