Placing 0/0 on Battlefield in Dredge Deck

If I were to have a Golgari Grave-Troll or Boneyard Wurm, which has strength/toughness 0/0, / respectively, with +1/+1 based on number of creatures in the graveyard, but had no creatures in the graveyard, would they automatically be placed in the graveyard?

It would hit the battlefield, then state based effects would check, then it would die.

It's worth noting that the two cards you cited are not functionally similar.
Golgari Grave-Troll is an actual base 0/0 that has a replacement effect that causes it to enter the battlefield with a number of +1/+1 counters.
Boneyard Wurm has a Characteristic-Defining Ability that functions in all zones; this card will only be 0/0 if there are zero creature cards in your graveyard.

It would hit the field and then die as a state-based action because it has 0/0 base P/T and no counters or buffs.

When state based effects check it would be placed in the graveyard. State based effects happen before, and after everything.
