If a token moves to any zone other than the battlefield, it ceases to exist. I think the owner of that token would still have to shuffle their library, and they most certainly still draw two cards.

It should be noted that you are shuffling non-existent object. The toy being used to represent the token does not need to be shuffled.

The way, I've always understood it. When tokens are remove from the battlefield. they are always exile or remove the game. So card like Dingus Staff can really work in you favor. if your using a all token deck.
However, in the case of Oblation. The token are exile like ekim32 says. and you draw two cards.

@DimirZer00 The token ceases to exist if it is in a zone other than the battlefield, but it is not exiled. This happens as a state-based action, so things like Dingus Staff , and 'when a creature dies', will trigger. The 'token' can still go to other zones (library, hand, exile, graveyard), but once there it stops existing entirely. Any object representing the token doesn't need to be moved, however.

@ekim32 See, this is why I get game with another player telling me token go to graveyard like normal creatures and remain there. I guess, I should really stop thinking as exiled as the end game for cards. Personally, I think this is wizards trying to pull something out of hat.
However, I do get what your saying. Your saying : tokens go to library, hand, exile or graveyard. Then stops existing. So, in a friendly game MTG should I let a token go to the graveyard or remove token from play ? When token leaves the battlefield?

When an effect causes a token to change zones, the token changes zones. However, that token can never return to the battlefield, and it will cease to exist as a state-based action. This does NOT mean the token is exiled. Exile is a game zone. The token stops being part of the game entirely.
In ANY game, friendly or official, a token that changes zones does, in fact, go to the other zone.

The token will be shuffled into your library, but it will cease to exist the next time state-based actions are checked. The practical way to resolve Oblation would just be to get rid of the token and shuffle your library, then draw.
