Nightscape familiar effect

Can a Nightscape Familiar make Duskmantle Guildmage 's effect one less to cast??

No. It only reduces the colorless cost of spells. Duskmantle Guildmage has no colorless mana in its mana cost, so there's nothing for the Familiar to reduce.

Oh, and if by "effect" you mean either of its activated abilities, absolutely not. The Familiar only refers to the casting cost of spells. Activation costs of abilities have zero to do with it or its function.

Additionally, abilities with costs are not cast, they are activated.
