The original. Exalted triggers when you DECLARE one creature as an attacker. Effects which put creatures onto the battlefield under your control already attacking do nothing to interfere with it, but they do not get any bonus from Exalted abilities.

will get +1/+1, while the tokens will be 3/3s.
