mutavault

when u pay the cost to make mutavault a 2/2 creature does it enter the battlefield with summoning sickness??
Now what about if you played a Mutavault and as it was entering, you made it a creature, in order to trigger evolve? I've always been confused if Mutavault would ever work with evolve

It has to already be in play to be able to make it a creature. Once it has already entered the battlefield, it can no longer trigger Evolve.

No, it doesn't work with Evolve. Evolve triggers when a "bigger" creature enters the battlefield but at the time Mutavault enters the battlefield it's a land, so the opportunity to trigger Evolve is already past and gone.

It doesn't re-enter the battlefield; it just becomes a 2/2 creature. When it becomes a creature, it becomes subject to rules that govern creatures (like summoning sickness). It won't be able to attack if this was the turn you played the Mutavault , but if you played it in one of your turns before, it will be able to.
