Multiple Sphinx's Tutelage.
Asked by SteezeOrtiz 9 years ago
If I have two Sphinx's Tutelage on the battlefield, what happens when I draw a card? Does my opponent do this twice? For example, would he do as the card says and then do it again for a second time? How does this work?

A triggered ability (starts with "when/whenever/at") will trigger every time the given event happens, and multiple instances of the same triggered ability do "stack". Both Tutelages will trigger every time you draw a card. You would go through the whole process to resolve the first trigger, then do it again for the second trigger.

When you trigger an effect (Drawing a card with "when you draw a card"-effects for example), plays all activates effects out one at a time.So in this case:
Draw a card -> Sphinx's Tutelage activatesPlay its effects out-> Next Sphinx's Tutelage activatesPlay its effects out
Etc.
Side notes: Two colourless cards don't repeat the effect because they don't have a colour, and the process keeps on repeating until one of the cards is a land, or they are different coloured.

You get a trigger of 'mill two and if they share a color then repeat' for each source of the effect. Since you control two, you get two of these triggers which act individually of each other.
