More Than One Primal Vigor?

Asked by InnerFlame 11 years ago

If I have more than 1 Primal Vigor on the field, do i get two extra counters?

Each Primal Vigor creates a replacement effect that will double +1/+1 counters when any would be placed on a creature. For each Vigor on the field, those counters would be doubled once further. So if you have 2 Primal Vigor s on the field, putting one +1/+1 counter on a creature would translate to putting 4 +1/+1 counters on it.

The same thing happens when you gain life with Rhox Faithmender or when you gain tokens with Primal Vigor , where it would double again for each one on the field.

Always check the Gatherer rulings first.

10/17/2013: If there are two Primal Vigors on the battlefield, the number of tokens or +1/+1 counters is four times the original number. If there are three on the battlefield, the number of tokens or +1/+1 counters is eight times the original number, and so on.
