Linked abilities: "memory"?

Hi! I have a question about linked abilities, like the triggered and activated abilities on Elite Arcanist. So in my scenario, Elite Arcanist exiles a card to its first ability, then an effect like Cytoshape changes it into something else for a while. When it's back to being an Elite Arcanist, does the activated ability still recognize the card exiled by the triggered ability?

Yes, as long as the Elite Arcanist has not left the battlefield it is the same permanent and linked abilities can find the relevant objects regardless of if the permanent has lost the abilities and regained them or not.
