Leeching Sliver and life loss.

Leeching Sliver states "Whenever a Sliver you control attacks, defending player loses 1 life." If i have 4 of Leeching Sliver on the battlefield, does the ability count 4 times? So if one sliver attacks does the defending player lose 4 life (1 for each instansce of Leeching Sliver on the battlefield)?

Yes. Multiple instances of a triggered ability (an ability that starts with "when", "whenever", or "at") always "stack". Each Leeching Sliver will trigger for each Sliver you declare as an attacker.
