Kruphix's Mana Pool Ability Question

Asked by ramonthebadass 9 years ago

So i was playing and edh game with my friend and he played Kruphix, God of Horizons and i read what he does and my friend ends his turn and tells me that he still gets the floating mana even though his turn ended and i was wondering if thats true since Kruphix, God of Horizons says your mana pool doesn't empty period.

Your question doesn't make much sense, it was full of Ambiguity . But, if he taps a forest and doesn't spend that mana, that mana will stay colorless in his mana pool forever.

Under normal circumstances, unused mana drains at the end of every phase and every step. Kruphix, God of Horizons creates a replacement effect, where instead of draining, it becomes colorless mana. So, that colorless mana will stay there indefinitely, until used by the controller or if Kruphix leaves the battlefield; at which point it would drain under the normal circumstances.
