Kruphix, God of Horizons and OGW Eldrazi.
Asked by canterlotguardian 9 years ago
With Kruphix, God of Horizons second ability stating that "If unused mana would empty from your mana pool, it becomes colorless instead," would this be an easy way to enable the new OGW Eldrazi that require colorless-specific mana to cast or activate their abilities? Or would Kruphix's ability be errata'd to say "it becomes generic mana instead"?
Asking because of a deck I'm considering brewing with the new Eldrazi with Kruphix at the helm.

Generic mana is not a kind of mana. It's a cost indicator that means the cost can be paid with any kind of mana. Kruphix, God of Horizons says the mana becomes colorless, so it becomes colorless.
