Hi, if I give Jon Irenicus, Shattered One shroud , does this mean I can avoid having to give him to an opponent on my end step if I control no other creatures?

Yes, giving Jon shroud would prevent it from being able to target itself. Though it's worth noting that Jon's ability specifies "up to one target creature you control," meaning if you've got only Jon and no other creatures (or if you just don't want to), you're not obligated to target a creature you control to be donated.
