Ivory Mask and targeting Planeswalkers

So lets say I have Ivory Mask on the field. My opponent casts a burn spell like Lightning Bolt . Since he can't target me, he wants to aim at a planeswalker I control.
Im quite certain that since the damage is redirected after targeting me, what he can't, my planeswalker should be save, but I want to be really sure about it.

You are correct. Burn spells like Lightning Bolt only target players (and creatures). Your opponent would have to target you, then redirect the damage upon the spell's resolution. If he or she can't target you, then he or she can't burn your planeswalker.
